During our Arty Splats classes, babies and toddlers are given an opportunity to explore activities which engage all five of their senses. We learn about our world through our senses and putting together information from all of these senses allows us to participate in everyday activities. Our classes allow little ones to work on sensory integration which in turn allows them to successfully move through and interact with the world.
During our Arty Splats classes, babies and pre-schoolers are given creative freedom. As they explore materials they develop independence, initiative, problem solving, risk taking and confidence – all essential traits for future learning.
Our Arty Splats class structure is excellent for promoting personal, social and emotional development. Our carefully planned activities are led by the child and at Arty Splats we see huge advances in children’s confidence, self-esteem and concentration
Arty Splats also provides unique opportunities for communication and language development as little ones develop vocabulary to describe the materials they are engaging with and babies and pre-schoolers have a wonderful opportunity to develop their mark making in engaging and interesting ways.

Arty Splats provides essential opportunities for under 5s to work on their fine motor skills and pincher grip too which are essential for handwriting. Big ‘active art’ opportunities also provide little ones with an opportunity to work on their gross motor skills which are also crucial for the development of handwriting.
During Arty Splats babies and pre-schoolers are offered an opportunity to develop their knowledge and understanding of the world as they explore a range of materials and this can spark their curiosity about the world around them.
