In our recent ‘red’ themed week we painted a giant post box with big paint brushes and decorating rollers; and each child was invited to write a letter to Arty. This activity was great for developing gross and fine motor skills and some writing / mark making skills. Here were some extracts from the lovely letters Arty received:

‘Dear Arty, I love you, Max xx’

‘Dear Arty, I love you, lots of love Zayan’

‘To Arty, we loved ‘red week’. Love Orla and my Mummy’

‘To Arty, we have lots of fun. Thanks for having us! Love Henry and William’

Arty enjoyed writing back to the little ones and we loved this activity at Arty Splats!

Red themed week comments

My little girl loves messy play! She wants to do it all the time and I find myself distracting her to go other things so I don’t have to clean it all up! Arty Splats is the perfect solution. She can create as much mess as she likes and I don’t have to worry about it. Jo also comes up with ideas that I would never have thought of! It’s brilliant and we love Arty Splats!

My son (aged 2 1/2) looks forward to Arty Splats every week. I love watching the enjoyment he gains from the weekly carefully themed classes. It’s all about exploring, experimenting and creating a mess which you don’t have to clean up – cheers Jo!

If you have not been to arty splats you should all try it, 100% unique 100% messy, a very unforgettable experience KIDS loved it

Definitely recommend! My little boy loves arty splats! His eyes light up when he sees the shaving foam! Jo and Arty make each session different and entertaining!!

My 22 month old twins absolutely love their Arty Splats classes. It’s great to see them exploring activities that they don’t get to experience anywhere else. They’re so much more independent now, making choices about how to approach each activity, and making links between things they’ve done before. Definitely the best class we go to.

Best party ever, it was the perfect way to celebrate our daughter turning 2. My little girl (and her friends) enjoyed every minute of the arty splats party. Jo did an amazing job at organising very messy and very fun activities to suit a wide age range! Would highly recommend an arty splats party, lots of creative and original ideas that all the children really enjoyed. Thank you!!!

Loved it on Monday, I’m usually running round trying to drag Harper back on my lap in classes so it was refreshing attending something where she could really explore everything, we could play together and I could actually take time out to watch her as she played on her own and with other children.
Looking forward to next term!

My son absolutely loved exploring and using all his senses at this session! Definitely recommend this to anyone! Was made to feel so welcome and understood what was going on and when things had to be done! Very highly recommended!!

We absolutely love this class, it’s offers everything little one’s need – colour, creativity, music and freedom! Jo is absolutely lovely and the amount of thought and planning gone into every session really is the icing on the cake! If you want your child to experience something truly unique and exciting every week, then Arty Splats is for you!

I love messy play and understand the educational benefits associated with it. Unfortunately my little boy doesn’t feel the same way! It was disheartening for me to set up messy play activities for him at home – for him to refuse to play with it. Then I found Arty Splats and I thought I would give it a go. He was tentative at first, but watching the other children, and with jo and Arty’s encouragement he is really starting to explore sensory play. He looks forward to going to the group each week and excitedly brings home his creations every week to stick on our arty splats wall! Jo has so much patience and knowledge in this area – we both really enjoy this group and I would recommend it to anyone!
