Hello and welcome to Arty Splats. At Arty Splats we are passionate about the benefits of offering children high quality art and messy play opportunities to develop their early learning.
Founded in 2014, we have offered our Arty Splats sessions to thousands of babies and pre-schoolers. Our Arty Splats sessions encourage children to experiment, explore and discover through our carefully planned activities.
We have seen first-hand how our sessions have supported children’s development and how their self-esteem and confidence has flourished. We are sure that you will quickly see the benefits of our sessions to the children at your Nursery as they have fun, work on key skills and develop their confidence and creativity.

What we do

Our Arty Splats sessions offer a combination of art, craft, large scale messy play, music, singing and movement. Our sessions are suitable for babies and children from 6 months old. Each session is carefully planned in line with the EYFS and offers children the opportunity to work towards their early learning goals.
We take away all of the obstacles that this kind of large scale messy play poses to settings. You can also be assured that our sessions will complement your own settings dedication to enrich and improve the lives of the children in your care. One of the best bits being that the children will experience a new theme each session for example we may be on a Gruffalo Hunt; we might be Space Adventurers or exploring Nursery Rhymes.
In addition to our high energy sessions you can leave all the mess for us to clean up! We even provide a splash suit for each child so that we ‘dress for mess’ and clothes can stay clean whilst children get fully involved in the activities, without any worry about the mess.

I just wanted to send an email to thank you for everything you do at Charlie’s nursery. I can’t tell you how much he loves his Arty Splats sessions! He has enjoyed other classes before but he adores Arty Splats. He asks every day if it’s an Arty Splats day and when it’s a Tuesday he literally runs to Nursery. Thank you for providing such special sessions and for all of your hard work!
